The women if the American Legion Auxiliary make a diiference in the lives of all Americans. They are dedicated to the education of children, organizing community events and assisting our nation's veterans through legislative action and volunteerism.
The American Legion Auxiliary is the world's largest women's patriotic service organization with nearly 1 million members in 10,100 communities.
Auxiliary members are a unique group of women, joined in fellowship of volunteerism, patriotism and dedication to veterans, young people and communities.

- A woman who is eligible for membership in The American Legion is also eligible to join the American Legion Auxiliary.
- The mother, wife, daughter, sister, grand-daughter, great-grand-daughter, or grandmother of members of The American Legion, and deceased veterans who served in the United States Armed Forces during the listed war eras.
- Step relatives are also eligible.
